LinkedIn buying signal tools fall into three groups. Engagement trackers (Embers, Traxy, Linked Panda) start from who reacted to or commented on posts. Conversation listeners (Signado, Trigify) start from keywords and topics. LinkedIn’s own products (Sales Navigator, Premium) are the only source for private signals such as profile views and job-change alerts on saved leads. No single tool covers every signal type.
This guide maps seven signal types to the tools that track them, with pricing verified in September 2026. I run Embers and have marked its row accordingly.
The seven LinkedIn buying signals worth tracking
Not every action on LinkedIn is a buying signal. The buying signals guide covers the theory. For tooling purposes these seven are the ones that can be observed and acted on:
- Engagement on your posts. Reactions and comments from people who match your ICP.
- Engagement on your comments. Replies and reactions to comments you leave on other people’s posts.
- Engagement on competitor posts. People reacting to or commenting on a named competitor’s content.
- Keyword mentions. Posts and comments that use the phrases your buyers use when they have the problem.
- Job changes. Someone moving into a role that buys what you sell.
- Profile views. Someone looking at you or a teammate.
- Repeat engagement. The same person showing up across several of the above within a short window.

“No public claim” means the vendor’s site did not state the capability when checked. Verify with the vendor before buying on that row.
Engagement trackers
Embers
Embers reads four public sources: engagement on your posts, replies and reactions to comments you leave, engagement on selected competitor posts, and keyword mentions. Every person is matched to your ICP and ranked, with the evidence attached. Solo is $49 per month billed monthly or $39 billed annually, with 1 LinkedIn account, 5 watched public profiles (competitors, influencers, investors, or teammates), and 10 keywords. Team is $99 billed monthly or $79 billed annually, with 2 LinkedIn accounts, 10 watched public profiles, and 25 keywords. No LinkedIn login, no extension, no automated actions. Leads can be delivered to Slack, to native HubSpot on Solo and above, and to signed webhooks. The HubSpot and signed-webhook routing guide covers that handoff. Full plan details are on the pricing page.
Traxy
Traxy qualifies engagers on an unlimited number of tracked profiles, enriches phone and email, and routes to Slack, HubSpot, Meta Ads, and webhooks. Pro is $149 per month with 5,000 credits, 20 percent off billed annually. No LinkedIn credentials required. See Embers vs Traxy.
Linked Panda
Linked Panda tracks “voices” and returns enriched engagers who match your signals. $10 one-time for 100 profiles, then $49, $99, and $199 per month tiers. Cloud-based, no login.
Conversation listeners
Signado
Signado watches comments on posts about your keywords, on competitor profiles, and on creators your buyers follow, then returns commenters with contact data. Lite is $29 per month with 1,000 credits and 5 sources, up to Scale at $349. Five credits per discovered lead. No login.
Trigify
Trigify is the widest net: 11 or more platforms, 16 or more signal types including job changes and company events, unlimited workflows, and API, MCP, and CLI access. Embers offers MCP access as well, though not a REST API or CLI. Starter is $40 per month with 4,000 credits and 25 listening searches. Max is $199. Credits meter every search and workflow run. The Trigify alternatives guide covers the narrower LinkedIn-only options.
In-feed scoring
Lynx Signal
Lynx Signal is a Chrome extension that scores signals as you scroll, with a Kanban pipeline and CRM exports. Free with 100 credits, then €23.99 to €159.99 per month billed annually. Because it reads the LinkedIn interface through an extension, check the 2026 automation restrictions record first.
LinkedIn’s own signals
Sales Navigator
Sales Navigator Core is $119.99 per month. It is the only source for job-change alerts on saved leads and for profile views, because those are private to your account. It does not track engagement on your posts or on competitor posts as a lead source. The how to use Sales Navigator guide covers combining its search with engagement signals from another tool.
A practical stack by stage
- Solo founder, posting weekly, under $100: Embers Solo or Signado Lite. Add Linked Panda’s $10 pack if you want a second opinion on the same engagers.
- Two-person sales team with a competitor list: Embers Team or Traxy Pro, depending on whether you need unlimited watchlists and ad routing.
- RevOps with agents and sequencers: Trigify, with Sales Navigator for job-change alerts on named accounts.
- Enterprise ABM: Sales Navigator Advanced Plus for the account graph, Trigify or Clay for signals, and a CRM that can take webhooks.
Frequently asked questions
What counts as a buying signal on LinkedIn?
Public actions that suggest someone is closer to a purchase than before: reacting to or commenting on a post about the problem you solve, engaging with a competitor’s content, posting with keywords that describe the problem, changing jobs into a buying role, or repeatedly engaging with your company. A signal is evidence for prioritization, not proof of intent.
Which tool tracks the most LinkedIn buying signal types?
Trigify covers the widest set, with 16 or more signal types across 11 or more platforms. Among LinkedIn-only tools, Embers covers four public sources (your posts, your comments, competitor posts, keyword mentions) and Signado covers comments on keyword posts, competitor profiles, and creator audiences.
Can any tool track LinkedIn profile views as a buying signal?
Only LinkedIn itself. Profile views are private to the account owner and are not public activity, so third-party tools that run without your login cannot see them. LinkedIn Premium and Sales Navigator show them natively.
Which LinkedIn buying signal tools work without my LinkedIn login?
Embers, Signado, Linked Panda, Traxy, and Trigify all state that they read public activity without your credentials or an extension. Sales Navigator is your own LinkedIn account. Lynx Signal is a Chrome extension.
How much do LinkedIn buying signal tools cost?
Entry prices in September 2026: Linked Panda $10 pay-as-you-go, Signado $29 per month, Trigify $40, Embers $49 billed monthly or $39 billed annually, Linked Panda Solo $49, Sales Navigator Core $119.99, Traxy $149. Lynx Signal has a free tier.
