What Embers is, and what it is not

Embers watches public LinkedIn engagement and ranks the people who show up by how well they fit your ICP. It never posts, messages, or logs in for you.

Embers turns public LinkedIn engagement into a ranked list of people worth talking to. It watches the activity you already generate, scores the people who engage against your ideal customer profile, and puts the best of them at the top of a queue you work through by hand.

What Embers does

Embers runs four signal agents on a 24 hour cadence:

  • Post engagement. Who reacted to or commented on posts from a profile you watch with the Own role.
  • Comment engagement. Who engaged with comments left by an Own profile on other people’s posts.
  • Watchlist. Who engages with the public profiles you are watching: competitors, influencers, investors, teammates, advisors, and clients.
  • Keyword tracking. Who is publicly posting about the phrases you care about.

Everyone those agents find is scored for ICP fit, deduplicated, and ranked. You read the queue, decide who is worth a message, and send it yourself.

What Embers does not do

This is the part worth being precise about, because it is the difference between Embers and an automation tool.

  • Embers does not ask for your LinkedIn password, cookies, or a browser extension. You connect a profile by pasting its public URL.
  • Embers never takes an action on LinkedIn on your behalf. No auto-connects, no auto-messages, no auto-likes, no auto-follows.
  • Embers is not a cold contact database. Every person in your queue got there by doing something public and recent.
  • Embers does not scrape private profile data or anything behind a login.

Because Embers never signs in as you, there is no automation footprint on your LinkedIn account.

Where the leads end up

The priority queue in the app is the primary surface. From there, qualified leads can also be pushed to other places:

Slack One message per qualified lead in a channel you choose. HubSpot A contact plus one note describing the signal. Signed webhooks Your own endpoint, with retries and a delivery log. CSV export The leads you have selected, as a file.

Who it is for

Embers is built for founder-led B2B teams: people who already post on LinkedIn, or who watch a handful of accounts where their buyers show up, and who close deals in their own voice. If nobody at your company is publicly active on LinkedIn and you are not watching anyone who is, there is no signal for Embers to read, and it is the wrong tool.

Frequently asked questions

Does Embers need my LinkedIn password?
No. You paste the public URL of a LinkedIn profile. Embers never asks for a password, session cookie, or browser extension, and it never signs in as you.
Does Embers send messages or connection requests?
No. Embers drafts messages for you to review, edit, and send yourself from LinkedIn. Nothing leaves your LinkedIn account without you typing it.
