Refund Policy

Summarises sections 7 and 8 of our Terms of Service (effective 19 September 2026). If this page and the Terms ever differ, the Terms govern.

The short version

  • The free trial needs no card, and nothing is charged during it.
  • You can ask for a refund of your first paid charge within 14 days of that charge.
  • Later charges and part billing periods are not refundable, except where the law requires it.

The free trial

Your trial starts when you create your account and does not need a payment method. It covers the first 2,000 engagers (public profiles) Embers fetches for your workspace, or the first 7 days, whichever comes first. Nothing is charged during the trial, and no subscription starts on its own when it ends: your account keeps a preview of the data already gathered until you choose a plan.

Your first paid charge

If you start a plan and it is not right for you, you can ask for a refund of that first charge within 14 days of it. This applies to the first charge of a monthly or an annual plan alike.

Renewals and later charges

Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle, monthly or annually. Charges after your first one, and partial billing periods, are not refundable, except where applicable law requires a refund. To stop the next renewal, cancel before the end of your current billing cycle, from your account settings or by email.

How to ask for a refund

Email viraj@useembers.com from the address on your Embers account, or include it in your message, and tell us which charge you would like refunded.

Your rights under the law

Nothing on this page limits any refund or cancellation right that the law where you live gives you.
